Yes, the LED Screen is completely weatherproof and designed to withstand harsh outdoor temperatures and rain. The outdoor screen has an IP rating of 65 and designed to withstand Australian weather conditions.
WHAT CAN I DISPLAY ON THE BIG LED SCREEN?
The LED Screen is optimised for displaying LIVE Video, LIVE TV, DVD, photo slides, internet and social media feeds and interface into SDI/HDMI and many other signal inputs for live event cameras. The LED screen is ideal for large outdoor events such as; concerts, festivals, outdoor movies, sporting events and LIVE Video activations.
We have the ability to display virtually any feed on the screen, including free-to-air TV, cable TV, PC, DVD and many more. Our screens function exactly as a computer or a TV would, so anything you can display on a computer or a TV, you can display on the LED screen.
The on board sound system is of exceptional quality and caters for up to 2000 people.
HOW IS THE LED SCREEN INSTALLED?
The LED screen arrives on a mobile trailer and is set into position, from there the screen can be then moved to any angle, rotating 360 degrees and set perfectly to the required position or even moved throughout the day. The screen can then be raised to the required height, up to 6.3 metres high.
The processor is installed in an undercover area together with the input source, whether it is a laptop or direct camera feed depending on your event.
PIXEL SIZE, VIEWING DISTANCE & REFRESH RATE
The Pixel pitch determines the resolution, minimum viewing distance and best viewing distance of the LED screen. The smaller the pixel pitch, the more pixels and produces a higher quality image.
The 4.8mm pixel pitch allows superior viewing, together with the additional feature of Black Face LEDs, it delivers a stunning picture with crystal clear colours and the best visibility in sunshine creating a great strong contrast with good luminescence of the LED.
The viewing distance is the minimum distance from the screen for optimal viewing; the LED screen has approximately five metres of minimum viewing distance, however best viewed from 10 -15 metres and given the superior quality it can be seen from quite a distance and suitable for crowds up 2000 as far as 200m away.
The refresh rate of a LED screen is the number of times in a second that the LED screen hardware draws the data. The high refresh rate of 3840hz makes this screen perfect for high action sports and motorsport events.
This superior quality screen has a wide viewing angle and high brightness makes this screen a great package and adaptable for any event.
WHAT ARE THE HIRE COSTS?
All events are quite dissimilar and require different needs. We offer free site visits to assess the site and discuss all your needs and can then provide a competitive quote to you the following day. Should your event need live video, we have partnerships with a range of professional videography companies and can combine this into the quote to streamline the process, otherwise happy to work with the videography team you have contracted.
We also have additional options for a quality sound system and generator hire should power not be available on site.
We offer competitive daily rates for the quality of LED and package we provide and can provide a reduced rate for two or three day events.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE SCREEN GETS DAMAGED?
The LED Screen is made up of a number of LED panels that are, in turn, made up of a number of LED modules. If one of the modules gets damaged we can simply replace that module (all screens are supplied with a stock of spare modules). Replacing a module can be done on site.
